Visenia

Terms and conditions

The rules of this site: what you can do with what we publish, who owns what and why a sales page is not yet a commitment. What you hire us for is governed by its own contract.

Last updated: August 2026

This is an English translation of our terms and conditions in Spanish, provided for convenience. These terms are governed by Mexican law, and if the two versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.

01What this document is about

These terms govern the use of visenia.com, a site operated by Visenia, domiciled in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. By browsing it, you accept them.

This document covers the site, not the work you hire us for. If you hire us for a project, what governs is the contract or proposal we both sign: scope, price, timelines, warranties and ownership are set there, not here.

02How you can use the site

You can read it, share it and quote it with credit. What we ask is that you don't do anything that harms it or harms the people who visit it:

  • Trying to access non-public areas, interfering with how it works or testing its security without our written permission.
  • Extracting content in an automated way at a rate that degrades the service for others.
  • Impersonating Visenia or someone on our team, or using our brand in a way that suggests a relationship that doesn't exist.
  • Using the contact channels to send unsolicited advertising.

If you find a vulnerability, we'd appreciate it if you write to us at contacto@visenia.com before making it public. We respond and give credit.

03Who owns what

The site's design, its texts, its illustrations and the Visenia brand are ours or we use them under license. Nothing you read here transfers any rights over them to you.

The software we build for a client belongs to the client, on the terms set by their contract. That is why in what we have built we only show our own products: our clients' work is theirs and is confidential.

Our own products are distributed under their own terms and licenses. The Session Tracer extension, for example, is governed by its own policy and by the terms under which it is published on the Chrome Web Store, not by this document.

04What the site says is not a firm offer

The examples, capabilities and industry scenarios you see here are illustrative: they serve to explain the kind of things we build, not to promise you a result, a timeline or a price.

Any commitment on our part arises from a signed proposal. Until then, writing to us doesn't bind you to anything, and it doesn't bind us either.

05Availability and changes

We try to keep the site online at all times and its information correct and up to date, but it is offered as is. We may modify it, move pages or remove content without prior notice. We do not guarantee that it will work without interruptions or that it will be free of errors.

06Links to other sites

We link to sites we don't control, such as holabroca.com, our repositories and our social media. Each one has its own terms and its own privacy notice, and we are not responsible for their content or for what they do with your data.

07Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages or lost profits arising from using the site or from being unable to use it. This does not limit the liability we take on in a project contract, nor any liability that cannot be legally excluded.

08Privacy

How we treat your personal data is explained in our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.

09Changes to these terms

We may update them when the site or the way we work changes. The current version is the one published on this page, with the date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, you are understood to accept the new version.

10Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute we submit to the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León, waiving any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply.

If anything here isn't clear to you, write to us at contacto@visenia.com. We would rather explain it than leave it open to interpretation.
